This is the 2021 World Record Giant Butternut Squash and still the WV State Record the 83.1 Cook, it was grown from the 55.5 Brown which was the World Record in 2020!! This fruit has since been beat by two very accomplished growers, what I want to say about this one is 1 this was the second fruit grown on the plant the first fruit was accidentally snapped off the plant at 60lbs and a week later was officially weighed at 59lbs. The next thing I want to mention is this butternut was grown in just 38 days and is still the FASTEST growing butternut squash to ever have been grown!! Had this fruit been allowed to mature and started earlier in the season instead of at the end of the season it could have went well beyond 100lbs, they grow on average 70-75 days so this fruit was just at half way point of maturity!! There’s very very few seeds left from this squash but what is left I want to share with everyone who wants them!! These seeds are some of the best genetics in the world and extremely hard to get a hold of and most charge $100-$1,000 for one seed from some of these genetics.
There is no exchanges or returns for the seeds as seeds can be easily swapped out for seeds of a different lineage or variety. If you receive the wrong seeds or are missing a set of seeds we will immediately send you the correct seeds out!
When buying Giant Pumpkins we can either meet you at a weigh off location, deliver after the weigh off, or you can freight it to you!
Buying it from the weigh off location is where you meet us at a GPC weigh off and after the fruit is officially weighed and sat back on its pallet you can inspect the fruit and after you’re satisfied with it you pay us and take possession of the fruit! You’re responsible for having it loaded at the weigh off, hauling it to its destination, and unloading it.
If the agreement has been made to deliver after the weigh off and deposit on the fruit has been paid, it’s our job to ensure it gets to you soundly. When we arrive you can inspect the fruit for any defects, if there is any damage that renders the pumpkin useless ie destroyed or damaged in a way we don’t believe it can last more then two weeks we will issue a refund on your deposit! If you fruit is in sound condition you must pay us before it’s unloaded, once the forks of a forklift touch the pallet the fruit sits on or personnel that works for you touches the fruit it becomes your responsibility and you’re liable for any damages incurred. NO refunds are given if you damage the fruit, all these rules are in place to protect you and us as well as the fruit! We’ve seen a lot in the past few years of doing this and we try to make sure these transactions are as smooth and easy as possible for you the customer and us as the seller!! It’s our utmost priority to have happy satisfied customers who want to buy from us year after year!!
We do require our seeds back from these fruit unless otherwise specified, we have a complete instruction list on how to harvest the seeds, clean the seeds and dry the seeds if we are unable to come harvest them ourselves!! In the event that you will be asked to harvest seeds we will give a discount on the pumpkin to pay for your time of harvesting, cleaning, and drying them as well as mailing them to us! The reason we ask for the seeds back is because these genetics are important to us here and sometimes can never be duplicated again!!
